Tomorrow's edition of the Sunday People has a banner heading 'Exclusive - 007's shock knee op'. I can't find the article online yet.

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

It's so odd. Before this news broke, I was watching the video that Cassandra posted where Daniel spoke about the dangers of mines. I imagined myself sitting directly opposite him as he spoke, like in the first scene with Silva in SF, knees touching. I'm not saying I'm psychic but ..... .... Like Bubita, I would also like to know which knee is affected - left or right? Not that it matters really. What matters is he gets better. I also remember Daniel saying that he would play Bond "until my knees give out". Now that this seems to have actually happened, I really hope Daniel isn't changing his mind about doing one more Bond....
I guess things are going to go a bit quiet on the Spectre news front for a while until he is back on set....

'Daniel Craig is a better 007 than Sean Connery' claims the ultimate Bond girl Honor Blackman

This is not really news, just a snippet from The Times Diary (TMS) today. I home in on any mention of DC!
You Only Live Thrice
Daniel Craig may have needed surgery on a knee sprained during filming the next James Bond movie, but a piece in 'Total Film' says he did well to survive his previous outing. A doctor has analysed 'Skyfall' and says Bond should have died twice in the first 12 minutes (after being shot with a depleted uranium shell and falling 80 metres from a moving train). He then somehow avoided blood loss, muscle damage and infection after another bullet wound and, even allowing for those breaks, sbould have died of hypothermia when falling into icy water near the end. A sprained knee sounds rather wimpy.
