I plan to see the movie in a very small "Club-cinema" with actual 40 seats (private table+chair) only. I need to check what are the rules in Saxony now. I just read, with reaching my seat, I can put off my mask during the movie. Ahhh, OK.

Not covering the nose with the mask is not the point. So you can go without it.


The problem is that my favorite cinema (Cinecitta) is located in Bavaria. In Bavaria they have this silly rule that you have to wear a medical or FFP2 mask during the entire performance! Just thinking about it spoils the fun of the planned visit to the cinema. A mouth-nose protector made of fabric is not permitted.

The other option would be our local cinema "Cinestar". In Hessen no mask has to be worn during the performance.
Cinestar ruins any performance by interrupting the movie! You watch the film and then in the middle of it BÄMM, light on, picture and sound off. Really great. This compulsory break only serves to make people buy popcorn, etc. Unfortunately, too many jump on this nasty act and Cinestar is sticking with it.
To make matters worse, the sound systems in all cinemas correspond to the state of 1999!!! Dolby 5.1!!! Not even Dolby 7.1, Dolby EX, Dolby True-HD, DTS, DTS-HD, Data-Sat, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Cinema ...
NTTD is played in Dolby Atmos in good cinemas!

Another confusing thing: NTTD 3D screenings ...???
No trailer indicates 3D! Even the producers denied that NTTD should come to the cinemas in 3D.

I'm still getting to my NTTD cinema experience! On October 1st at 4:30 PM Kinopolis Sulzbach near Frankfurt am Main. We have a 2D screening in Dolby Atmos. The screen is 17.00 m wide and 7.00 m high.

And the best:
As soon as you have taken a seat in the cinema, you can remove your mouth and nose covering.
