...I do think about myself, I do know every single piece of CR.
But I have to ask, is esp. this part of CR?

As far as I know it is deleted scene just after he dressed in the bathroom when Vesper laught at the door just before he went in the casino.

There's no clear scene in the script that matches. However, it most likely comes during the first night at the casino. So the scene would play after Bond put on the tuxedo the first time. It is scripted that Vesper is sitting on her bed and is considering him anew. Meanwhile, we cut to Bond in his room practicing his card skills. Perhaps they thought the moment was too similar to the scene before where he stares at himself in the mirror. Which is such a terrific sequence. So raw and genuine.



Though I agree that it plays better in the context of knowing that Bond has collected himself together after killing Obanno and having that shaky moment in the bathroom. Though I don't blame them for deleting it. It's a bit perfunctory and looks like it belongs in a perfume advert.
