I think Daniel is being sensible in mixing it up a bit, if your routine becomes predictable this raises the risks to your safety. His travelling alone was publicised, it make sense on his return journey that he’d have security, being prudent gives him the flexibility to assess when and where he’s likely to need someone to watch his back.

Must say, I often saw those other security guys rolling their eyes in a way. For them it was only business routine and they had to take care of all tose hormon driven women - cannot have been easy. I know - he yelled at me , when I was rushing forward early to secure my place. I didn't give a damn, though. "You wanna yell? Ha - as if I cared" You are not even half the man, that would be needed to get me away from securing my front row place.sf2la wrote:It's the same nice, crew-cut guy from ASR days. It was really cute how he seemed to get a kick out of all the women going nuts for Hugh and Daniel.Cyanaurora wrote:Maybe the security guard was employed by the venue and just happened to be near DC at that time?
But yeah, the body guards were nice
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..
Oh, those were fun times...But I will never forget the absolute devastation I felt when that first photo D&H was published. All I saw was some 70's porn 'stach on the studly one.Germangirl wrote: Must say, I often saw those other security guys rolling their eyes in a way. No, not the bodyguards but the security guys. One was real nasty - but I have to say, he just didn't make a difference between high styled ladies and gentlemen, who just wanted to get out or the craszy women fans.sf2la wrote:Oh, those were fun times...But I will never forget the absolute devastation I felt when that first photo D&H was published. Yeah, I wasn't tweeting, but wouldn't we have had constant tweets of where he was at dinner, lunch, shopping, etc? Or did we and I forgot? Poor guy - it's like he has a GPS attached to him (actually, not a bad idea ).
