Just a funny little note in relation to QOS...
We can probably ALL attest to being able to recite Eva Green's lines word for word from Casino Royale ... but what about QOS?? I do OK with Gemma Arterton's dialogue and some of Judi Dench's but Olga Kurylenko floors me sometimes because of her accent and how fast she speaks. For example, I NEVER get the line "Dominic didn't give you any trouble did he?" said in the car before JB kicks the motorcyclists face off. She says it's so fast I literally can't get the line out quick enough - it cracks me up every time!!

I saw both versions: The German, and the Original one. I think Olga did quite well, at least better than her German voice (the same with Mathieu), but it mostly didn't give anything to me like accents normally do. I also don't remember so many good verses. There were a few, but somehow they wren't as sarcastic as Eva's. Of course I would always prefer her, but I give Olga a chance and say she's quite ok.NextBondGirl wrote:Just a funny little note in relation to QOS...

Former Gucci designer Tom Ford has presented his first feature film, A Single Man, at the Venice Film Festival. The movie stars Colin Firth and Julianne Moore - reports the BBC.
Until now, Ford's only contact with the film world has been making the suits that James Bond wears. He's one of the world's leading designers in men's fashion, accessories and cosmetics. But what makes Tom Ford think he can direct?
Not only has Ford made A Single Man but he's co-written and produced it too, adapted from the book by Christopher Isherwood.

Pressure or no pressure - still doesn´t explain the often terrible editing, because leaving stuff in or cutting it out, takes the same amount of time. Sorry...Vesper Lynd 007 wrote:Very interesting . Often think about this pressure.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

I'm with you, GG - am not a fan of the QoS editing
