Daniel Craig Circling DC Studios’ ‘Sgt. Rock’ With Director Luca Guadagnino

Daniel Craig is being eyed to star in the DC Studios feature Sgt. Rock for director Luca Guadagnino.

The movie adaptation of the DC Comics character is in early stages, with no deal yet in place for Craig or Guadagnino. The project has a script from screenwriter Justin Kuritzkes, who penned Challengers and Queer, with the latter being an A24 title that hits theaters Nov. 27 and counts Guadagnino as director and Craig as star.

Plot details for Sgt. Rock have not been shared. Created by Robert Kanigher and Joe Kubert, Sgt. Rock is a World War II soldier who first appeared in comics in 1959.

Not a fan of DC films or the lot at all, but nevertheless would find it good, if he also does „populär“ projects
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Remember that they're going to be young, early - mid 30's. The next film is 5 years off, and a minimum 15 year 3 film contract will be on offer. Like Daniel they'll have had some solid acting behind them.

I have an actor in mind.
