I guess, thats what they wanted to achieve. Maybe you fo habe to understand, what they intended.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

I watched the play last week twice and it was fantastic especially Daniel's performance. Better than my expectation!!
He is really a good stage actor and completely nailed this intense and dramatic character. I was so impressed by his commitment to performance as always.
The only regret is that the edit of the whole play is not very good and super confusing (I don't get why would they choose to use the same actors to play multiple unrelated roles). Fortunately I have read the book before and know about the story, otherwise I will be super confused.

Thanks Sophie strange indeed. Hard to believe, they cant afford to have enoigh actors.

Thanks for sharing I didn't noticed it. Does it mean they do this on purpose to follow what people did in history? Good to know.
