VERY PLEASED for him and VERY PROUD of him!!!!!!
It is also quite a surprise that he has taken this step. I was expecting things to stay quiet until he is back on the set of Spectre. He is the truly great, erudite and caring man we all knew he would be. This is one of those moments when we can be truly honoured as his fans.

Thanks to A!

Well glory be! I have been immersed in looooooong work days this week and haven't had a chance to check my laptop until now. And my mobile keeps making me re-enter my username and pw to enter the site. It won't retain it despite 'remember pw' box being checked. I knew he had some new ambassadorship of some kind, but I had no idea until watching his video and looking at these pics. Dang! No joke about doing something very worthy with one's celebrity. He is involved in quite a number of charitable and/or meaningful causes. I would imagine that he is continually being asked to be the spokesperson or celebrity ambassador for many more causes than we know about, but he can't say yes to all of them. From the scholarships for inner-city kids, Orbis, orphans, this....he's a very good man. Oh wait....he's a very ruggedly sexy good man . I would also think that Rachel was with him. That is certainly an honor one would like to share with loved ones.
