Empire magazine has published this first look at The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn, directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Peter Jackson. The 3D motion capture film features the voices and performances of Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones, Mackenzie Crook, Carey Elwes and Daniel Mays.
The film stars Bell as Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure, Serkis as Captain Haddock, and Craig as the nefarious Red Rackham. Pegg and Frost play Thompson and Thompson.
"The first part of the film, which is the most mysterious part, certainly owes much to not only film noir but the whole German Brechtian theatre — some of our night scenes and our action scenes are very contrasty. But at the same time the movie is a hell of an adventure," said Spielberg.
The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on December 23, 2011.

It amazes me, that even within the British film industry, people who haven't met Daniel in person, think of him as being moody and whatnot. I would think, word has gotten around by now, how he really is. Obviously not. People still find out themselves... good he never seems to change on the funny mode...Dunda wrote:I don't know whether it is posted already

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Slightly different trailer, you can get a very blurry glimpse of Daniel but you can hear HIS voice at the very end
