On second thought, I found I have to edit my previous post...

That is, under the condition that Daniel would NOT sport a big stache like they often did in the 1800's... :P

not Daniel related:

Mark Strong in Talks to Play Sinestro

Talking to MTV Splash Page earlier today, Green Lantern director Martin Campbell has debunked early rumors that Jackie Earle Haley was first in line to play Hal Jordan's greatest enemy Sinestro. Instead, Mark Strong, recently seen as Lord Blackwood in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes and soon to be seen in Matthew Vaughn's upcoming Kick-Ass, is in talks for the part.

"He's not only a wonderful actor, but he looks like Sinestro. If you look up old pictures of Sinestro, he's very like him," he told them. "The Jackie Earle Haley thing, somebody told me about it this morning; I had never heard it before in my life."

They also asked him about some of the other characters who might appear in the movie to which Campbell replied: "Well, Kilowog will be. Tomar-Re is in it. Sinestro is in it. Abin Sur is in it. All the origin people. Carol [Ferris], of course, who will be played by Blake Lively. All the main characters are there, and it's a complex story. The origin story of Green Lantern is complex, probably one of the most complex, which makes it a challenge to get it right."

Let us know what you think of this possible villain casting and whether you could ever imagine Kilowog might appear in the Green Lantern movie.

Seems as if turning comics into an unanimated is just en vogue. And Mark's roles are becoming bigger and bigger. Will he become one of the most casted "villains"?

I read this as well the other day. RocknRolla was the first movie that I saw him in (I think)
He has just come to my attention.........its amazing certain parts from actors make you become more alert. Now that I have looked up his body of work, it speaks volumes. I hope he does become a huge success, he is such a great actor.
He was great in Sherlock Holmes :)

I remember reading an article that I found on him or Daniel (not sure which) where Daniel described him, saying he was really like a big kitten in real life.................Awwwwwwwwwwwww :D

Even though this movie is not my cup of tea (no comic book adaptions are) I'm sure he will be brilliant. :D

Men's fashion and style icons
FashionBean.com: Men's fashion and style icons:
In his time Steve McQueen was the highest paid actor in Hollywood and his rebellious persona (both on and off screen) gave him a compelling attraction to men and women alike. His was a no-nonsense classicism and it’s this style that is still exerting an enormous influence today.

Take one look at the rebooted James Bond as played by Daniel Craig and you’ll see it screams McQueen. The Harrington, desert boots, khakis, shawl-collared cardigans, as well as polo shirts all hark back to McQueen in his pomp. And like Bond/Craig, McQueen could also look devastating in a slim-cut, well-tailored suit, usually sporting a beautiful chronograph.

DVD Charts - QOS on 5

The best of the first....

Casino Royale - the bold rebooting of the Bond franchise that takes Ian Fleming's secret agent back to where he all started. Based on the first novel about the character, which has never been done justice, the film has an incredibly adult and intelligent script and is told in such a more realistic style than most of the Bond films of the last couple decades. Daniel Craig IS Bond. The best one since Connery... actually the only one since him. All others are pale imitations, only pale shadows.
