yep, it could be fitting
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..
I wonder whats he's thinking here! ("F*** Sake!! Im supposed to be Bond not hanging onto Olga's waistband to stop her falling out of the boat!")Lu wrote:So cute. anyway, Olga's just a few years older than his daughter, isn't she? Daniel Craig Screensaver

...so yes, er... still under oath to write a perfect sonnet, and it's emerging... slowly... and someone out there, reading this, is waiting for it! (Even if this isn't true, it's a good stick to beat myself with).
And I've set myself the task of writing it about that one infamous still from 'Casino Royale' where Daniel Craig is rising from the water (Robin has it as his screensaver). In this poem I want to say desire makes work for idle hands, that when the brain wanders, the eye wanders and then the body wanders. What better reminder of this than a screensaver of Daniel Craig which flashes up when work's been abandoned. He is the Siren which sang out to Odysseus and which would've curtailed his travels. He is Acrasia in Spenser's 'Faerie Queene' who would've stopped the Red Cross Knight from reaching his goal, by beguiling him in the Bower of Bliss. Except Daniel's male, of course. A nicely camp reversal.
