I actually agree with GG here.
SF and SP were too similar... the difference in tone between CR and QOS was way different to SF and SP...
Not that they weren't all great movies (I think) in their own way.
Martin Campbell is an old hand at Bond movies. He will do a great job if he has the time and energy to do it...
PS... Love your words 'Get a room' GG! It's a bromance! I think Sam Mendes is great but he needs to make some serious style/content changes if he decides to come back.

Seems like many of the comments on that page agree with us that Mendes is problematic for them and they want a fresh start. I can't believe DC is a single-minded as to only step up to another one if Mendes is at the helm.

Re Mendes & Daniel coming back for 25.... I would prefer to have someone new to keep things fresh and steer clear of any similarities between SF and SP.... BUT (and this is a big but), if Mendes coming back is the only way Daniel will do another one... YES PLEASE!!! I like Sam and he does a good job of directing. Daniel and Sam may clash over decisions but I believe it is a friendly clash. There's no denying they work very well together...
