James Bond star Daniel Craig popped into a Cambridge café today (September 25) for a fry up with two companions.
The 007 actor wore a flat cap and a suit as he tucked into bacon and scrambled eggs and coffee - shaken but not stirred - at the Copper Kettle in King’s Parade.
The popular cafe is owned by the Atay family who were delighted to have such a famous customer.
Beverley Atay said: “He was very polite and very unassuming. It was hard to tell you had James Bond sitting there as he kept his flat cap on the whole time.
"I served him scrambled egg and bacon - and coffee - shaken but not stirred.
He was with two young ladies and I think one was his daughter.”
The actor certainly caused a stir in Cambridge - and was the toast of the cafe.
Burak Temelli, manager of the cafe, said: “It was a bit of surprise he came in for breakfast. He was really lovely and he had breakfast and posed for some pictures.
"He went off down King’s Parade - I don’t know where but he is an international man of mystery.”
Cambridge mayor Cllr George Pippas said: “I’m delighted such a famous person was in Cambridge. It’s always good to see that as it promotes the city.”

So he home and Ella, too. Probably her girlfriend, the other one. I wonder if he really thinks, the cap would help him not being noticed. But the mood is good, so all is good.
