How rare is it for Bond to actually look straight at the camera! Never thought of that before.

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

^^ This one is not from CR. It´s from the SPECTRE "Mexico City" Set in Pinewood.

No chance IMO - he wasn't that ripped in Sp. Or maybe he was and we just didn't see it. But the gun could be from CR or SP.

From the background, you could be right. WTF. He was ripped as hell. ](*,)

I recently looked over CR again. I have to say that while I enjoyed Spectre in the most part, Craig was dynamite in CR. It's still his best film. Campbell nailed the fight scenes.

In particular, I love the bathroom fight. It's so vulgar and inarticulate; there's a certain desperate quality to the way the men are acting. Bond is so commanding and aggressive, but he isn't beyond taking a punch.

I love the moment in particular where Fisher finds the gun and Bond pushes his hand away by forcing him to shoot the sink. The following moment where Bond punches the mirror to force him to drop the gun is great. Also it's even more impressive as it is actually Craig who did it!

If you've seen CR a few times, you soon find it it quite easy to spot Ben Cooke, Craig's stunt-double, but I always get a thrill seeing Craig actually in action.

It's the hair.... I can tell when it is Ben doing the stunts because they could not seem to match Daniel's hair or get the colour right...

The hair and make up guys improved on this over the 4 movies. By the time SP came around, it is pretty hard to tell Daniel from Ben (except in the train fight - Ben (if it was still him as Dan's stunt double) is a lot less bulky/muscular than Daniel... )

I pride myself on understanding what is going on during the fight between Bond and Patrice in the skyscraper in SF... I am convinced that they used CGI trickery to switch between Daniel and the stunt guy every few seconds. Again, I am basing my opinion on the subtle changes in hairstyle. Of course, the Bond crew in the know will never reveal if I am right or not!

CR is genius. I loved Martin Campbell's handling of it. I'm not a huge fan of what Mendes did to Bond. Too dark, lingering, and, yes, we all complain about this one, lady action.

CR was the perfect combination of urgent action and long soulful scenes that keep you glued to the screen.

I just entertain myself with watching more of this vids about CR.
Now I can compare, I want to say...CR is "the best" and will stay "the best", IMO.

I love CR but I've seen it too many times now.... I need to make the gaps between 'viewings' considerably wider. SP 'replaces' CR as my favourite... sort of. I love all of Daniels Bonds for different reasons... 8)
