Save me time from going through all the old Bond movies. When QOS comes out, we can have a discussions on its absurdity and foolishness (Who knows, maybe Paul Haggis and Marc Forster would make it more realistic?). To be honest, I thought Casino Royale was much less absurd comparing to Pierce Brosnan's Bond movies.
CR is more real... because it´s not Bond. Made me laugh less that other, with the Brosnan's last one, I remain blue and with stomachache when it ends: the invisible car, the Korean developed into blond english, the BMW dance in the ice.

CR does not have humor, I miss Q and his "come on 007, grow up", and the truth that I don´t see Daniel doing these wonderful jokes that Moore or Connery was doing.

The tandem Forster-Haggis gives me more distrust ... yesterday I was reading that departs from the plot has to see with that Bond goes a coup d'état prevents in Bolivia .... if it´s true, it´s the most cynical thing that I have read in my life... :?

And if it´s true that Pacino is going in QOS ... I want to see the photo Daniel-Pacino and I will die in peace!!!!! Only this way I will become convinced of his real stature
I remember my mouth dropped in disbelief in the theater when I realized the Korean guy turned in to the English guy. Where did the writer get the idea from? Michael Jackson? :?

Anyway, and you are right that CR is not like any Bond movies. I have a friend who is a classic Bond fan and she was very disappointed with CR because of its absence of gadgets, Q, Bond humor, etc. She still hasn't forgiven Daniel.

It would be fun if Al Pacino really has part but isn't it just a rumor? I remember seeing a Youtube video someone put together footage from Casino Royale and Ocean's 13. I may be dreaming......time for bed.

Michael Jackson       Maybe

It´s time to sleep for me... Like always it´s a pleasure. Good night! :D

I love these shots of CR....the running scene and Venice. Laredo...this was a great idea - although they are not singular shots of DC....it is interesting how the filming process happens based on the still shots.
My aren't we thorough? And thanks Faustine for finding these gems.
I llike the photo of Daniel and Satsuki with the scarves on their necks - must be either cold or very early in the morning.

Sorry - but his real stature will be in the hiding for more time - Pacino is definitely NOT going to be in the film.
It would have interested me though to see those two do some acting bits together, whereas I have no problem seeing Daniel holding his own against Al with little effort.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..
