Why do we assume that either of them want to get married?
My partner and I agreed no children no marriage - that works for us - how do we know they haven't got a similar agreement? If it ain't broke don't fix it!

I assumed it because he gave her a big old engagement ring. Call me crazy! In the US anyway, that is a promise to marry.

I have to agree Lu, the diamond is a bit over the top for a friendship pledge.

Nicollete Sheridan has been "engaged " to Micheal Bolton twice for many years . I think engagement is another word for living together in Celibrityland .

Ahem, do we know for a fact it's an engagement ring? I mean she has been seen with a very similar ring on her left hand ring finger already during the filming of CR, long before all these rumours started to float around... And it sure took a long time before the ring was noticed!

No one knows for a fact. I think we'd have run out of things to speculate on if we did. She's been wearing it for some time, media says since Sienna QoS pre-production shooting last summer, but I think we all noticed it before then....someone on here will remember.

All I know is, the day after my husband slipped that solitaire on my left hand, i was on the phone to my mom picking the wedding day and deciding on the color of my bridesmaids dresses.

But yeah, I know things work differently in celebrity land.

As private as Dan and Sats are we'll probably never get an official announcement of an engagement nor a wedding...I'm a fan of Dan regardless of his maritual status.

Hi ladies

If that isn't a big huge diamond ring on Sat's left ring finger, then I don't know what it is!!!

Oh maybe it's just a nice friendship ring or "we're going steady ring Satsuki"!!!

Wish Daniel would buy me a rock that big!!! Wow!!!

Are they engaged or not? There hasn't been a formal announcement has there? But then knowing Daniel he likes to keep things private so I think he and Sats would keep the news to themselves, family and close friends (as long as they can keep their mouths closed to the press!!!).

I think my dream of marrying Daniel might have slipped away!!!

Never mind, where there's life, there's hope!!!

I see Sienna Miller is having fun going topless on the beach with Balthazar Getty in all her glory. I hope Daniel didn't have a fling with her a few years ago. If he did well at least he had the good sense to move on!!!

You keep me posted about Daniel's forthcoming nuptials ladies and gentlemen on the Forum so I can be ready when the priest/celebrant etc. asks if there is any reason why these 2 can't be married and all of us from the Forum are there to yell "YES", grab Daniel and take him away for infinite days and nights of debauchery amongst us all. Actually we won't let him go!!!
