Re: NTTD
I think he looked quite handsome in Skyfall too. The costume designer did a very good job.

Must say, it was VR that I fell for him and hence have to say-minus some poker table scenes- he looks incredible throughout.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Re: NTTD
I can't remember really, but I remember a friend of mine saying oh you should see this movie Layer cake. The guy is awesome...wow and I was yeah, welcome to the fanclub...but really the first movie I saw was Love is the devil at Sofia movie festival back in days....oh...the points is that I really like how he looks in most of his movies, but the point is that it is how he is I real life I like most without all the vanity and century stuff. Just a normal person like all of us....with extraordinary gift not many of us have...that makes the difference...

Re: NTTD
Me too...too girly for me...DC always looked manly even when 16. This guy is more of a DiCaprio breed. Wil look like 20 when 40
Re: NTTD
I think Thimothee Chalamet is a very talented actor. He was great in Call me by your name and Lady Bird. His Oscar-, GG- and Bafta nomination was well deserved but he has a almost feminine aura going on and I can't see him doing something like Bond.
But let's see how he will do in Dune

Re: NTTD
Can anyone remind me if this shot actually ended up in Quantum of Solace or if it was cut out...
Craig's look in QOS is his best. I think Louise Frogley did the best costumes of the Craig era. I remember hearing that she was directly inspired by Steve McQueen...which works perfectly for Craig.
He never looked better than the Haiti scenes...
Also, Craig just suits looking roughed-up and bloody. Something that I think he appreciated, as he was covered in scars in CR, QOS and now NTTD. It looks as though Sam Mendes was of the opinion that Bond shouldn't look too battered.
The real question is.....Will we get any topless scenes in No Time To Die?!?! He did work out more for this film and he seemingly had abs.

Yep. There is this shot. He is moving around speaking with Matis in his room jay before kissing the back of fields all the way....

Re: NTTD
I don't think that shot is in the film. Don't they just cut to Craig opening the door to Mathis?
What do we think of SF's look? I have to say that I also quite like the buzzcut he had in SF. It's certainly a departure - especially when you think of Connery's look back in the 1960's. Though I hazard that was most likely the *point*. It reminds me a little of Brad Pitt in Mr & Mrs Smith.
It's pretty edgy and iconalastic. Plus it suits his more militaristic and brutish style. I wouldn't have minded if they kept it. I know he was supposed to look a bit knackered with the stubble - and at times he does - but i like it...
It also helps that the suits in SF are the best that DC ever wore.

Re: NTTD
As far as I remember he opened the door, Matis walked in and DC walked to take his glass with champagne...the pic itself shows more flesh then it is in the movie. There you can see only his chest.

Yes, I love how he looks in Skyfall, it's my favourite of his 007 looks.

Re: NTTD
I agree on SF. It was a very severe look for Bond. But I really liked it....Despite being essentially being a buzzcut, it's rather very neat. It kinda reminds me of Obama. I know that's a really dumb reference and might even sound a bit ignorant. But there's something to the haircut being so short and severe, but still elegant and neat.

Re: NTTD
Yep. I like it as well. One of my favourite looks and I like how he looks like when he drives in Shanghai, stops to try the gun and then all the way till he kills Patrice. And I love the shaving and Casino entering scenesVanquish wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 8:34 pm I agree on SF. It was a very severe look for Bond. Re: NTTD
I think the below scene is with Paloma (Ana De Armas) in Cuba. In the second trailer, you can see that she gives him his tuxedo. You can see the same hanger next to Bond.
I think Daniel and Ana are going to have some serious chemistry on screen. There partnership is the thing I'm most excited for post-Knives Out.
I bet Paloma tries to sneak a peak at Bond whilst he's changing....I rekon we'll get a few adoring shots of DC with his top off. He worked out harder for this film than Spectre. Maybe he won't be as ripped as CR or SF. But close.
