So true about not being patient. Rachel (and Henry) is a bit of blessing and a curse for us fans, as much as we love her. He definitely seems to have something more more important than making films. A new and more important priority for him. No more jumping from one film to the next. We were very spoiled and came to expect that kind of output from him. But with their financial position and each other, I suspect that there will be longer breaks between films like we have recently experienced. Let's just be thankful for what we get .SmittenDramaKitten wrote:What can we do but wait...? .... And try not to panic. Us Daniel girls were never that patient as far as he is concerned.

YAY! You're back!!! I couldn't get on to the forum last night. I tried between 6.30 and 8.00 pm. I'll admit I was panicking. When I couldn't get on the back up board, I even phoned my internet providers. I didn't understand the error message I was getting. When he got the same one, we decided it wasn't my server / lap top, we assumed the site was down for maintenance. I didn't try again later because I was watching a vaguely disappointing movie, ie, not one of Daniels....
I know it's a little quiet around here NOW but that won't last as the time for Spectre draws nearer... .... Lack of posts or no, I still really miss this place when I can't access it.
GG, did you get my email? If so, I guess you can ignore it now!

We don't have much choice do we Tboss?
I was thinking that it is only when they are out on location do we get a lot of pix. When the movie is shooting on the sound stage, we get NOTHING. Why would we? No other movie releases pics from here and Bond movies are always famously secretive, to quite a high degree...
Still, I agree it would be nice to have some news. I would hope that Daniel's knee is fine now.

Sadly I think, its time to open this thread again.
But must say, we have been spoiled. There was much more then I expected in the US and we had China as a plus.
Daniel looked gorgeous throughout and was in a good mood. Lots of smiles and laughings.
But now, all we can do is watch the film and follow the BO. Daniel, I believe, will not be seen for a while and I dfoubt, he makes an appearance during the Oscars etc. But who knows?
I wish for him, that the nect surgery for his knee will leave it healed and good as new.
So, its been a blast, if all too short, as usual.

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Oh............
We looked forward to this period of time for months if not years and yes, it is 'over' too fast....
But I look forward with positivity if I can, an unusual state of mind for me. I can still see Spectre in cinemas and then I will be looking forward to the blu ray. (Want to get a bigger TV in time for this but only time and money can say if I'll manage that.) Right now, the movie is new enough so that every time of seeing it still feels like the first time.

I am more curious about Daniel's off-Broadway production, Othello, now. I have learnt from Wikipedia that off-Broadway theathers have less capacity than the normal ones and the they are more experimental. Is that true? Does that mean there will be limited tickets and the show will only be run for a short time?

Yes, its smaller and I am not sure, how long it will run. His other shows were about 3 months all in all. Limited tix, yes with this one. You have to buy the whole package of shows like 6 for 400,00 $ or something in that vein.
But single tix for Otjhello should be available at some point. People will try to sell them for higher prices.

The New York Theatre Workshop is very small, it only has 199 seats.y_featherlet wrote:I am more curious about Daniel's off-Broadway production, Othello, now.
