In all fairness he hasn't been asked to act but I don't believe the rumors . With 2 blockbusters ( 3 if you count Termiator ) I don't think Babs would pay what he might be asking now . His movies have made more than DC's combined .

May be so, only it weren´t HIS movies - meaning THOSE films didn´t depend that much on the actors rather then all the technics they use and Avatar was a dimension of its own anyway. Who knows, maybe one day, he will choose a film, where he needs to act and will surprise us.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Will Mendes still direct the Bond 23 film or will that be someone else??

The deadline for MGM is on May 14 - nobody really expects another extension, so its most likely that things will - at least - move from then on more quickly.

MGM lenders to vote on debt extension

http://commanderbond.net/10287/mgm-lend ... nsion.html

Looks like they might go for an extension after all  To me it looks like everybody can only loose by doing so...

Probably just another of those Bond rumours, but, OMG, I would spontaneously combust if it was true. Dan and Mark going head-to-head in Bond - just too much for this girl *faints*

Its true, that Mark expressed an interest in a Bond villain - if only they got the f***ing thing of the ground...

May 7 (Bloomberg) -- Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.’s creditors, unsatisfied with proposals to buy or restructure the debt-laden film studio, have contacted Hollywood executives who may be willing to run it, people with knowledge of the situation said.

Former News Corp. President Peter Chernin, ex-Viacom Inc. executive Jonathan Dolgen and the founders of Spyglass Entertainment met with lenders in recent weeks, said four people who declined to be identified because the talks are private. etc...
