Until I started dissecting his movies I never noticed how much directors used reflections in movies . I really like this photo . I wish I was computer savy . That photo screams to have my pic photoshopped on her body . Deep sigh !

I was told recently, by a film student, that shooting via mirrors is expressing duality in the character.

LOL
What it is about the scar that is so sexy? I can tell you what it is!
It is the "locality" where it is placed and the "native soil" upon which it is placed .
Nothing mysterious, only an adverse reaction of Danielism
Scars feel different when touched, then the rest of your skin; as they do when you are touching them. Maybe it's the damage to the skin surface or to nerve endings, but for some, it's a heightened sensation. It is for me.
Also, maybe it's the defect on a smooth surface that creates an attraction, like a hangnail (bad analogy I realize).
They sure do feel different when touched but its not always a nice feeling - almost feels numb like you can't actually feel being touched if that makes sense.
