The "smoking" thread :-)

The description of DC fits the bill. He looks so good in this photo!
However, for the record.....I do hope he quits smoking indefinitely.
I don't wish to condone smoking but alas, my man has been smoking for many years and I can't seem to get him to quit - for his health and mine.
Even I was caught up with smoking when I was much younger - just as a social mannerism to keep from drinking too much at clubs - something to do to fill the time between drinks and mingling....never really enjoyed the taste of it and quit long ago.
It is so nice to go into a bar nowadays (in Vancouver) and there is no smoke....just the smell of booze and aftershave. I don't know how I survived in those smoky rooms before.

I so agree! After having been a year in Italy, where smoking is banned in public places, it was a drag to come back home and find all that smoke... I've noticed already before that a night out in a smoky bar even with minimum alcohol consumption causes a great big aftermath... Luckily the law changed in the beginning of June!!sharmaine wrote:It is so nice to go into a bar nowadays (in Vancouver) and there is no smoke....just the smell of booze and aftershave. To my great dismay, one of my favourite musicians ever, Joe Jackson, is a feverish pro-smoker...

Yeah, he can´t help it, making look sexy everything he does.Anesidora wrote:If the tabacco companies had hired him for advertising tabacco (when it was legal to do so), the world would be today full of smokers. He makes smoking soooo sexy...Faustine wrote:I hate that he smokes but manly what is when he does it, not?
But look at the hand - its huge. Noticed his hands the first time in the shower scene. They are perfectly shaped.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..
Yes ... but there is something special in his hands... think of those hands on your skin!Dunda wrote:Same hereGermangirl wrote:But look at the hand - its huge. Noticed his hands the first time in the shower scene. They are perfectly shaped.
But tell me one thing, only one thing about this MAN that isn't perfectly shaped?
