I have are search project for all of us. I know how much we like to research our favorite subject Daniel Craig.
In watching his movies over and over I have noticed a recurring theme. As we all know in Casino Royal he puts Vesper's fingers in his mouth. In Some Voices Lara puts Ray's finger in her mouth.
The project is to see how many instances there are fingers in mouths in DC's movies.
I hadn't realized how sexy fingers in mouths were until DC. Another thing I will thank him for when I meet him in person

I don't really dare to post it here, but for all of us who have seen The Ice House and remember the first line of Andy (played by Daniel, of course)
you know what I mean......not in mouth, or in mouth, depends on how you interpret his line

Hmmm, interesting. I don't really know of any other scenes apart from the ones you mentioned off the top of my hea,d but I'll keep thinking. It obviously is a well-known sexy thing to do then, not just a James Bond trick.

My jaw dropped to the floor when I first heard that line.

I had to replay it to check if I got it right, I couldn't believe I just heard that out of a police officer's mouth!

Hmmm.... I seem to spot different recurring themes.

He seems to be 'dancing' (either vertically, horizontally or both) in every movie. With men OR women. Is it just me?

Here I watched 'Munich' today, thinking "Oh, this one will be different" but lo and behold, early on in the movie he's dancing with another guy (celebrating their first or 2nd assassination?)

I need a minute to catch my breath....!

that dancing scene was the only one I really liked in Munich...every other scene was either boring or disgusting - apart from the actors (especially Daniel, of course), the film was crap

I wonder if the scene was written in the script that he is supposed to suck Vesper's fingers so seductively and gently the way he does. I think that this is definitely a DC thing!

I can't imagine that the script says,

"Bond walks towards the bathroom wear he sees Vesper huddled in her gown under the shower. He immediately sits down, still fully clothed and embraces her. The water is still running and she is trembling.

Vesper says, "I feel I have blood on my hands and it won't come off."

Bond takes her hand. "Let me have a look". He then seductively sucks each finger gently and wraps them in his hand...."Is that better".

She snuggles and nods yes. She looks frail and small.
The water is still running and soaks his clothes - you can see his well-built body under this white shirt.

Bond places his palm on Vesper's forehead - like a parent comforting a child. Hold, hold, hold."

I seriously don't think that the script actually describes how he is supposed to move - so it's got to be instinctual....

DC has some great instincts - n'est pas?

Of course - he's a proper actor. He gets drawn in at the moment. It must be amazing to work with such a good actor as him; every scene would be inspiring.

Sharmaine ~ in regards to the CR shower scene... I wonder how many takes they did?

If I were Eva, I might try to make a mistake or two just to be able to do that scene again, and again, and again?

Of course you'd also be doing a favor for the poor wardrobe/makeup people as they'd have to dry him off, give him dry clothes, spiff him up again. Man, I should've taken a job in the movies!

I didn't believe my ears on that line until I read it in the book!

the dancing theme has already been mentioned, but it'd be negligent not to mention the water one: in almost every film of Dan's, he has something to do with water, whether it's a swimming pool, bath, shower or ocean (stretching it to rain, too). as i have pointed out in another thread, this may have something to do with him being a pisces. i don't know, i just hope he carries on!

as for the finger-in-mouth thing, it's one of my favourite sexy moves anyway, so i just wilted when the shower scene in CR came on!
