It is between takes. From what I've seen the coat is on in all scenes in the trailers...So we see. Personally I don't mind it and maybe kinda like it...I really wish we could see this movie soon.....but concidering that UK, France, Germany etc. are in lockdown now they did the right thing to postopen.

I hate that damn coat!!! It's so damn ugly!!!!

I think the costumes have been chosen less for style and more to fit the visual look of the film. So each costume fits with the colour scheme of the film. So in set photos, the costumes actually look very ugly. But when you see it in the film it fits the colour scheme. For example, the Matera suit looked gross in the set photos, but when you see it photographed you see it's supposed to suit the brown and blue look of the scene.

Is that how others see it?

Totally agree about the colour scheme. Otherwise I like the dresses..not sure I mean dresses or how they are on DC.....

Did DC get into really good shape for NTTD? I was looking at this photo from the movie, the shirt is so very tight, that it's pretty unforgiving. He looks fantastic....
