Stay!....I liked that bit too. It was improvised.
That was it "Stay" sorry! Funny that one.

That was good.
I am leaning toward "
Lea: "what is that"
Daniel: a 1948 rolls Royce silver shadow (or cloud) I think there is a little more but I must go see the movie again to memorize a few more lines.

Daniel improvised that line too. Originally it was "it's our lift."

Hi Bee, either from the vids or interviews recently. I know the Rolls Royce line was mentioned in the Charlie Rose interview with Daniel and Sam.

Yep, the one liners are great... 8)

"No! Stay!" To man attempting to intervene at clinic.
"Do me a favour.... flush that down the toilet, cut out the middle man..."

There are plenty of one liners during the car chase but those are less obvious...

Ben has some good one's but the one that always generated a laugh in the screenings I have seen is M to Denbigh ... "...and now we know what C stands for.... Careless." Course, the assumption is that it's the BAD c word.

Does anyone know WHY Denbigh is referred to as C from the very beginning? SG? When Max comes into the office in the first scene after the opening credits, we get Bond saying "I suppose we should call you C now." Denbigh replies "No, Max is fine". Bond then says "No I think I'll call you C...C."

I try to pay more attention to plot / script etc but when Daniel is looking so very fine, it's hard...

I'm not sure but I'm assuming 'C' is just a code name like 'M'.

Oh OK... I think the name of his company doing the surveillance is CNS. Maybe that's why? One of these days, we might find out.

What a youngin he was! Little did we (at least I) know that I would develop long-term a huge crush on an actor whom I didn't or would never know. And it's stayed because (1) he's still hot as hell and (2) he's said or done nothing off screen that's made me embarrassed or question why I like him.

:stick_iagree: Sf...
Once Daniel gets under your skin, there he STAYS.
When I 'found him' it 'hit me like a ton of bricks' but I was also riding on a cloud for MONTHS because of it. :D I have no regrets. I only wish I'd known of him since 1991 or whenever his acting career actually started...!

Well said amd a happy new year.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..
