The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Is it just me or does his face look a little weird in the close-up portraits? (it's especially his teeth that bother me, I think...)

Thought that too, in fact was thinking back to the conversation GG and sf, and co were having about how he's aged in the past few years. His eye lids are heavier, which to me makes his eyes seem more sunken (especially in bad light).

I bet he's dog tired too.

I am seeing this at work and its all squeezed to almost half size on the monitor, so I can*t REALLY judge, but IMO he doesn't look "aged" recently and the eye lids - to me - don't seem any heavier then they were in the last years.
