This to give you an idea, what the guys make out of this pic
In that pic the DB5 is on a low-loader, but they also use camera rigs fixed to a moving car which is more effective for getting dramatic shots of a car traveling at greater speed, like for a car chase. (Take a look at the camera rigs on the LandRover for the Smithfield scenes with Bond in the back of the car and Tanner driving.)
The low-loader seen in the pics suggests a more average car speed for the scene.
Yes, I have seen those. But there they also have a rig on the roof for a stuntman to do the driving. I guess they can't attach those to an vintage DB5!
That's what I meant: if DC is not allowed to drive the Aston himself, they have to film on that low-loader, which does not allow high speed chases. And if they let him drive himself, it can't be very fast fast or risky either, as he is not a trained stunt driver.
So I guess if we get to see some action-packed scenes with that DB5 a stuntman has to drive it, which allows no interior shots. Probably they will edit this together in some way, with shots taken on the low-loader with DC in the car.
The sequence will more than likely be a combination of low loader, with Craig at the wheel, camera rigs, exterior shots and run-bys, crane shots etc. with Craig driving for some shots and a stunt driver doing other shots. Poss some green screen back in the studio at a later date, too.
Now that's an exciting photo! The licence plate is a nice and subtle little nod to Goldfinger.

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Well, it is important and interesting to some but I only chanel my inner thirteen year old boy for Spartacus on Friday nights; then I am right there decapitations, blood spitting and old fashioned fists, clubs, and knives. Old rome wasn't much on technology. Other wise my basic purient rampant hormones say---there is never enough of the good stuff (where is luna when I need her) where our hero is concerned. Bond spends way to much time IMO dealing with action sequences and NOT Action as in scoooooring. K
apologies bad day at work so I drank my din din. k

Damn. No future with Daniel Craig.
