He wasn't irritated at all. In fact he just looked confused, then amused. He never looked irritated which was a very negative reaction. Poor girl, maybe she didn't get her facts right. Satsuki looked well..blank as usual or half smile or something. The guy was quite good, he quickly diverted the question to something else.
Since I am not an english native - please explain the difference between irritated and confused. Thanks!
Well, Maybe Funnlim will answer this herself, but since it's been awhile, I'll take a stab at it.

Irritated is: angered, provoked, or annoyed. You could be irritated if your neighbor's car alarm went off every morning at 3:00 am and woke you up.

Confused is: to perplex or bewilder: The flood of questions confused me.
or to make unclear or indistinct. You could be confused if you can't figure out what is causing the alarm to go off or why the neighbor doesn't do anything to stop the "irritation".

Hope this helps!
Thanks LR :D Irritated for me - going after the german meaning - is closer to confused maybe than in english.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

We convince ourselves that we know the other person well, but do we really know anything important about anyone.

Its hard not to...repeat. Good he is such a worthwhile subject, otherwise we would be bored to death by now.
