     Who knows, maybe they measured that too, it's just not in this picture.
I want to be able to get up finally of this damned bed in the next days. Already I was almost one month and a half without being able to get up. I have entered and gone out of the hospital. I want to return to have something of life

For what I remember in this scene in stairs they are not in the same step. Felix is a lower step.... 8) 8)

Controversy on Bond... Once upon a time laredo tried to do a question on bond and turned out to be this

I hope you get well soon, Faustine.

You are right. Felix was in a lower step. Maybe that's another reason why they were measuring the distance between his head and the camera. I am trying to imagine the conversations among the crew when they did this scene.

Thanks for the link on your discussions. I have missed out so much this month that I don't think I can catch up with everything so you saved me a lot of time. You know I don't care for Bond movies either. I didn't even see as many as you did. I am happy that Bond gave Daniel the exposure and the fame and an opportunity for people to find out how good an actor he is. However, I hope he will get out of Bond soon and keeps up doing other good movies. His choices of movies lately are very questionable which makes me worry.

As to CR and Bourne, I do agree that the movies have some similarities in style but the central characters themselves are quite different. I like the first Bourne but not the other two because there was not much more story to tell after the first one. I don't know what to expect of QOS. I am trying not to think or read too much about it. Otherwise I am sure I will not enjoy it.
I know that CR's Bond and Bourne are different, which I tried to say is that there is something in the aesthetics that they are similar, to see both united movies is very impressive.

On CR and Daniel: always I have said it, the good only thing that I extracted of it was to discover him as good actor, nothing more. The later movies are very bad, his performances are very bad, he overacts in an irritating way, specially in TGC. I wait with dread and interest Flashbacks and Defiance, the topics in both movies are very common, we will see what they have done with it

Or maybe he lost weight raising these steps after shooting Mr White.

I don´t have any expectation of which it is a good movie and this, for me, it´s wonderful... means that I go away to laughing very much this November.

Already I know that to wait for something distantly for an intelligent script is a Utopia but it would be interesting that the protagonist was not staying as an idiot giving these explanations
   We should watch QOS together. We will have so much fun laughing at it!!!!! Already the Chinese are scratching their heads because they are having problems finding a good translation for the title.

I can´t tell you the difficult thing that is to find the title in Spanish, have read at least 5 different titles: in literal form (not make any sense), in poetical form (poetics in Bond movie????), explaining what wants to say and the title would have to fill five lines....

I'm trying to catch up a little...haven't seen much of anything since the card project. This is a very interesting thread. Some things stay pretty consistent with these photos.....
1) Daniel is having a hell of a time - he absolutely loves what he is doing 2) Satsuki is never very far away
3) There are literally dozens of crew members around at any given time....I wonder how it is that they can act at all with so many people looking at them.....rather unnerving to me....but then I am not in their line of work.
4) Almost everyone looks like they are waiting for the next thing to happen. So there must be some truth to the boredom of these sets unless you are the starring actor or have some major importance to the scene.
5) It's just another job....different from the everyday 9to5 but a job nonetheless.

Thank you Faustine for all these wonderful pics of the inside of the business!

   Maybe they all should just call the movie QOS, saving some energy to figure out how to translate it. The Chinese name so far doesn't make any sense. I am sure they would come up with some alternative title.

Back to poking fun at Bond movies, have you see Austin Powers?

Today I saw again the first, it´s wonderful.

Sometimes I believe that the Le Chiffre´s phrase about of simple tortures is a response to what the Dr Evil´son says brings over of that if tells to Powers what it is going to do to him, he´s going to escape, that it´s much simpler to shoot him and enough.

Alota is Vagina a direct response to Pussy Galore not?

Hey, behavie!!!!

You see Johnny English???

I love Austin Powers. It's so hilarious. I like them more than the real Bond movies.   I haven't seen Johnny English. I need to see it now. I understand why you could watch Bond movies even though you said they are bad. They can be viewed as comedies.    Bond fans in this forum are going to kill us.

A friend suspects that my mutant disease (every two or three days something new breaks in my body) is a product of a curse of someone of the forum fed up of my jokes brings over of the Daniel´s stature, role choices or skin color.

Johnny English is enough raves, has some very funny moments. Do you know those who are the scriptwriters?

The scriptwriters of the last 4 Bond movies: Neal Purvis and Robert Wade

The World is not enough
Die another day
Casino Royale
Quantum of solace

They should learn of himself, when they want they are very funny

Austin Powers... more funny then Bond..... not for me. Bond is the more funny crap what ever see

   I for one really appreciate that you gave me a brand new way of looking at Bond movies. I hated Bond movies and I dreaded for years having to see them with my hubby. Now I can actually enjoy them because of what you have said.

Magch and Faustine, you guys REALLY should come together for watching DC and other movies - that would give a hell of a conversation
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

According to imdb.com Neal Purvis, Robert Wade AND Paul Haggis did the script of CR and QOS

And Haggis won Oscar twice: Crash and Million Dolar Baby

I love the 2 of them together! Such fluff and puff with Solange  I'm sorry but I never bought the Bond & Vepser love story. Vepser was a lier and she double crossed Bond. IMO she was as dangerous as any other villian. She could have gotten Bond killed! She was an accountant trying to play with the big boys of espionage. She also looked like an anemic to me. Nothing against the slight of weight. I myself am in that grouping. There's no way I could have worn this dress better than Solange.

I am with you...Solange is so yummy. Her body is so feminine and curvy, much lovelier than Eva's. I am just like Russell Brand with Daniel Craig--I am straight, but man, if I could I would give Caterina Murino "such a cuddle."
My books!
