The mini coop made such a splash in that that movi with Ed Norton and Mark Walberg . I can see why they would push the car in a big movie and though fuel efficient small cars are standard in some countries it will be fairly new in he states . With gas getting close to 4.00 bucks it makes sense to get peoples attention in a Bond film .

Oh no, being a Mini owner and having had the privelege driving a Ka, there is no comparison. The Ka is a tiny little econo box. The Mini is a sports car.

But Ford has many cars for the European market that are not sold in the US. The Ka for one has been around for many years, as is the Mondeo which was used in CR.

Thanks for the new Bond pics

I'll add this, even if it will sound weird. But I've been in to hospital, for surgery, from monday to today. Had pictures in my room at the hospital of Daniel and Gerard Butler. To have something nice to look at when it felt cr@p. The nurses made comments about the pics. They said they were nice pics and that they liked the pics I had. Two of nurses recognized Daniel, because of Bond. One of them said she thinks Daniel is the best Bond. I could only agree.

well, perhaps one of the girls drives it and he catches a ride with her.

You could also say that the Ford Mondeo they used in CR wasn't worthy of a Bond movie, but it fitted the story. Why would he rent a million dollar car to drive to his hotel

They also said Dan wasn't worthy of playing Bond. But he proved everyone wrong...so...don't judge before you've seen the movie.

The car looks ok. Maybe one of the girls will be driving it instead of him? Is it the trend now for him to first drive a cheaper or cute or economic car and then jump into (hopefully) an Aston Martin?

I like Mini Cooper better.
