My guess is that he is not into pets. He needs too much attention himself, cannot give any to a pet. If he must have a pet, my guess is that he will go with a cat instead of a dog.

He has a cute scene with a dog in The Ice House, but that's the only time I've ever seen him touch a pet. I'd love to though. The way someone interacts with animals tells a lot about the person IMO.

Since he is a good hearted human being, I am sure, he likes animals. But I see him rather with a big dog than a small cat.

Still, I am sure I read somewhere, he LOVES cats ! that's why he has a snow leopard as a deamon in the GC !
