I would probably have died if it was me. But then again, to have had the pleasure for 7 years, mmm lots of delish memories possibly...

Even here in Germany (and she is a big star here) you never heard or read that she has said something nasty about Daniel or the relationship.

Only thing I remember is, that when she was aked whether she is lucky in her private life (and it was back then when she was with him) she answered: "No, not always, but occasionally"

This fits Daniel statement about what makes a relationship work: spending time together and working on it every day.
I suppose that wasn't possible because Heike was making movies, too and they often have been seperated.

But that's only speculation
