Agreed. Thin never was a good option. Although in the pic from golden compass he was just younger
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

So there is a slight consensus that Daniel looked noticeably older and chunkier in SP? His jaw is gone
