White knight in shining armour - LOL!

Yesterday I read something on the IMDB that fits right in with what mickey01 posted about Daniel helping her after she had an accident. It's in the trivia from 'The Invasion':

"While filming at the Chilean Embassy in Washington D.C., Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig were to drive a white SUV to the entrance, stop the car and allow valets to park it. Kidman forgot to place the car in park and as she got out it began to roll down the hill. Craig swooped in from the passenger side and dove at the car, hitting the emergency brake and stopping the disaster from proceeding. This happened during heavy rain effects."

On the forum, someone posted a couple of reports from people who were extras on the set (scr71, if you read this, I hope it's okay with you if I post it here too):

"Thanks..an interesting daniel craig story to share also..while we were on the set of "The Visiting" (upcoming Nicole Kidman sci fi movie) Nicole and Daniel pull up to the gates of an Embassy in a big SUV during heavy rain effects.

Nicole is supposed to hand her keys to the valet, and then her and Daniel walk arm in arm into the embassy party. However, during one of the takes she forgot to put the car in park, and as she got out it kept going..the entire set went nuts this huge SUV rolling down the hill and Nicole just squeeling helpless..then Daniel craig RUNS from the passenger side..runs along side the SUV, DIVES IN and hits the emergency brake level.

Thats was really cool to see in person. I took photos from across the street but wwas way too dark (night scene) to catch any of the action."

And the other one:

"Funny thing that happened first night:
This is the scene where Nicole and Daniel arrive and enter..in this scene they used tons of fake rain. The hose exploded, for one, and they had less rain than they wanted, and for 2, Nicole Kidman got out of the car and forgot to put the car on park. As a result, the car kept rolling down the embassy driveway and nearly ran several people over. Daniel Craig, perhaps in James Bond mode already, rushed to the cars driver side and hit the emergency brake. Nicole Kidman had just jumped out and yelped and didn’t do anything.

It was funny, I wish I had taken photos of that sequence of events..it would have been sellable to tabloids."

What is it with this man? A severe case of helper's syndrome or just an overall caring heart?
Oh who cares what it is. Santo subito! :P

I would say he is just someone who doesn`t talk much, rather re - acts.

I also find it funny during Interviews, when he never uses more words than absolutely necessary. Often leaves the interviewer a bit on the loose.

Nice way to deal with it in my book.
He`s great.

Hmmmm, what a man!

I just find him so completely refreshing in these days when the typical 'onlooker' prefers to not get involved in anything that might cause them any harm ro take away from their personal time.

Just makes Daniel all that more appealing. It's not that he's acting, that's just the way he is. He jumps to the challenge without hesitation.

I'll be his princess in distress anyday! :P

What a man! I don't know very many people who would do that kind of thing, or actors for that matter. I am a very self-sufficient type of person, but I'll play the damsel in distress with him anytime! Must be nice to have him around.

LOL,
Please save me, my hero!

That's a great idea, but please don't provoke a car accident.

  Let's just say that I'm willing to endure a couple of scrapes so long as he comes to the rescue and carries me away in those beautiful, strong, muscular arms...and as I am holding on to him I'll get to smell his neck, and then I'll be able to answer that burning question: what does he smell like? (swooned)

Hi everyone,

Thats a great story! Can just imagine him doing that.

I've said it before and I will say it again - he sure helped me out big time - something I'll always be very thankful for.

My boyf is probably my 'knight in shining armour' but I suppose Mr Craig can come a close second - just don't tell my boyf that! LOL.
