Thanks for the link, it's good to hear about these "conversations", and know that things are definitely going on behind the scenes! :)

It does not really have much to do with Bond 25. Except that a potential director has canceled. Denis Villeneuve would have been a good choice. Blade Runner 2049 he put in an excellent scene.

Too bad that nothing concrete has been published in terms of spript. It's supposed to have been written by Purvis and Wade.

Personally, the longer they take, the better. Spectre was rushed. Poor script (certainly the third act and any scene with Blofeld in it) and an unhappy Daniel at the end of it. Let's hope they are fine tuning the script to make it something that isn't cringeworthy.

Yes let's hope for that. Can't be all that difficult.

Purvis and Wade had done a great script with Paul Haggis at Casino Royale and QoS. The two worked with John Logan on Skyfall and Specter. Skyfall was a great script. As far as I can remember, John Logan had written the script for Specter and Purvis and Wade were supposed to miss a bit of humor. About this action John Logan was not particularly amused. On what he renounces further cooperation with EON Productions.
Specter had a good start. Blofeld also came over threateningly in the Rome sequence. But then this "torture scene" where he drills Bond in the head ...
And at Bond, the instant miracle healing occurs. You can not see anything of these torments anymore. One of them has drilled holes in his head when fully conscious. And then he can pzazzise again with the weapons to shoot the evil henchmen and blow up the Basie in the air ...
OK. Bond films never correspond to reality. But the thing with the head drilling and the happening afterwards was a bit exaggerated. Also from Blofeld one could have done more. Especially with this actor. Chritoph Waltz was terrific in "Der Gott des Gemetzels", original "Carnage".

According to the current state, Purvis and Wade alone should be responsible for the script ....

The only thing we can do is wait and see....

Bond 25: Why is James Bond Relevant in 2019?

With James Bond returning to our screens in 2019, what's the challenge ahead for Daniel Craig's final 007 movie?

from mi6. So Boyle would be an interesting choice. But sunce it seems, they only recently started developpment of their dcript, does that mean another delay?

"Demange had a deal to develop the picture. They aren't uncommon. It's a way of getting talent attached to a a picture, but it by no means confirms their involvement.
Demange had been working closely with Purvis and Wade on the script and Eon had done some extensive vetting on him. Especially since he's not that experienced a director. Demange's deal has been extended a number of times (imagine a temp being asked to stay a few extra weeks by the office manager). It's not exactly a sign of faith from Eon that he is "their director" as people fall out of these deals all the time.
I mean if I'm savvy to the fact that Demange was developing a script that someone else could potentially direct (or they would drop the screenplay all together), I'm sure he was aware what was happening.

in regards, to Boyle: I suspect he'll do it.
He had been working a period musical with Tim Bevan with Ewan McGregor attached. But that's likely on the backburner if Eon make him the offer. Boyle has been on a roll of late, so I'm not adverse to him tackling 007."

#DannyBoyle will direct next #007 film #Bond25 late this year after shooting #allyouneedislove for @Working_Title - as long as Bond screenplay by #JohnHodge meets approval. #BarbaraBroccoli #Michael G.Wilson & #DanielCraig “willing” this to happen.
