Here's what the Beeb had to say about it in two takes:

Have there been any other sites except for Empire, which has quoted what Daniel had to say?!

I think it is just a kissing scene not love scene , too soon after Vesper . She is a agent , maybe a cover . She could be playing "30 "... I think she is too young for a agent and he was too old for a NEW 00 agent .

Sorry to go a little hyper here...but the news of this conference *which I only discovered about 1/2 an hour ago* just made my day. The title is AMAZING. And I wrote up this huge rant on the other forum I'm on (which most unfortunately is filled with people of lower IQs and lower appreciation of the Daniel). It 3 long, LONG chunky paragraphs about the history of Quantum of Solace (I'm going to giggle every time I type that) and I barely had to look up anything to write it. It was basically me just trying to remember how to spell the more complicated names for my brain, like Giancarlo Giannini and Olga Kurylenko. OH well.

Yay for progress! Here's to a positively quantum movie!

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

On redluna's request, I just uploaded the press conference to Megaupload. It's in two parts, more than 20 MB each:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CEAL1ZIV
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RRBX5XCB
Barbara Broccoli, Michael G. Wilson, Marc Forster and Dame Judi Dench talk about QoS, Daniel himself didn't take part though.

I am actually glad, he didn´t have to participate, since we know, that he is neither very happy nor very good in doing this sort of thing. They probably didn´t have him, because they knew, all of the press would have jumped on him, rather than asking questions to the others.
