Guys, take note - Daniel Craig's buff body is a result of jogging.

The next Bond instalment starts filming in January and lean-looking Daniel told me: "I'm pounding the streets at the moment - I am working on the body."

But we won't see Dan's firm bod in the famously tight trunks he sported for Casino Royale. He said: "They have been burned."

Of course, he was once just the bloke down the rugby club, in the sleepy home county village he grew up in before he left for London with stars in his eyes. A trickle of television and film work followed his graduation from drama school with his most notable moment in those early years, his full-frontal nude scene in an adaptation of a Minette Walters novel.
Full-frontal nude scene in an adaptation of a Minette Walters novel?????? Can these journalists do a better job in researching their interview subject? Since when there was a full-frontal nude scene in the Ice House? Or did I miss something when I watched the Ice House? :? It's good to see so many interviews but at the same time I must admit that it's becoming a little bit boring since most of the reports or interviews are so similar.

And regardless the fact that all these things about former work has been printed about 1000 times and more, there are some silly, stupid authors who write such a bullshit like the full-frontal nude Andy !

 And how embarrassing is that for a journalist? It really shows that so many of them just summarized, copied, paraphrased previous materials and never even bothered to see DC's work. What a shame!

Happens all the time in the newspapers - I just keep wondering, whether they do the serious stuff with equal carelessness?!

Having followed writing on my own field for two decades, I certainly know that science/arts dept is not greatly concerned for great detail/accuracy. And the same applies to news on archaeological discoveries...

I worked in publishing, trade and education, for just short of 20 years, and fact checking is not a priority there either.

That's why I felt important to not believe in everything the media report. The quality of news in general (at least here in the U.S.) is getting worse and sometimes the mainstream media even sound like tabloids too because they want to sell sensational stories!

I am glad I am not the only one who takes every oportunity to wander the streets of London hoping to see our man.

Do we have any more info on the article about him having a house South of London? Any ideas where it is? I am from Cheshire so my chances of bumping into him are pretty remote!

Leona to sing for Bond?

While Daniels Craig's warming up for the next Bond movie, it's who'll be singing alongside him that's setting tongues wagging.
Madonna, Aha, Duran Duran...they've all been there and Dame Shirley Bassey's been there three times.
Who will sing for Daniel Craig's second outing as James Bond?
And with the 22nd Bond adventure just around the corner it's a brave man that'd rule her out for a fourth shot.
Among the fresh talent Amy Winehouse is one artist that's been hotly tipped. But that was before the queen of the charts became the queen of the tabloids. Since then those stories seem to have quietened down.
The resurgence of Kylie's put the princess of pop in the running, though her newly announced tour dates for 2008 could rule her out.
And it's X Factor star Leona Lewis who must also be in the running after her debut album became the fastest selling album ever.

Daniel Craig: “Turning 40 doesn’t bother me”

Heartthrob Daniel Craig has revealed he doesn’t care a jot about turning 40.
The 007 star faces the big 4-0 next year. But he said the milestone didn’t faze him at all.
Speaking on GMTV he said: “I’m not nervous about the 4-0, that’s all right. And I’m working when it’s happening so I can hopefully just ignore it.
“It doesn’t bother me, it really doesn’t bother, it’s just another birthday really at the moment but then talk to me in March.” :D

JAMES BOND - CRAIG USES BOOKS TO CURE INSOMNIA

JAMES BOND star DANIEL CRAIG uses books to cure his insomnia. The actor is so energised when he is working on a movie set, he struggles to sleep without reading. He tells British radio station Heart, "The problem is that when I'm working I have about four or five books on the go and they're kind of like sleeping pills. "I read about two pages and I drop off and then read the same two pages for about a week. "I kind of then grab them when I get the chance to go on holiday and I finish them there. I'm always reading something though."

Celebs take part in 'Kite Runner' auction

Authentic Afghan kites, each with a tail autographed by a different U.S. celebrity, will be sold on eBay to raise money for the Afghanistan Relief Organization.

Madonna, Angelina Jolie, Daniel Craig, Kate Winslet, Benicio Del Toro, Halle Berry, Will Ferrell, Cher, Steve Nash, Former President George H.W. Bush and other luminaries made contributions to the online auction, which is slated to begin Wednesday, Paramount Classics said in a statement.

The campaign coincides with the upcoming release of the Kabul-set film, "The Kite Runner."

Along with their kites, winning bidders will receive "thank you" cards signed by the celebrities who autographed the kites' tails.

Other items to be listed on eBay include a trip to the set of the new James Bond film as a personal guest of director Marc Forster, as well as a private lunch with "The Kite Runner" author Khaled Hosseini.

"We are so grateful to everyone involved with 'The Kite Runner' and all the celebrities who have contributed to this amazing charity auction, and we especially wish to thank eBay for the support and exposure it will generate," Mary Adams Urashima, an ARO board member, said in a statement.
