I agree with you all. And when I go to the movies to see his films with my husband I have to remember when scenes are tense or hot and steamy not to squeeze his arm or hand tightly, and I really have to remember to breath, because he notices, as well as I have to remember not to sight deeply.

Calypso...I am glad you are ok! Must have been scary.

  What a crazy bunch we are

Steve McQueen Biopic In The Works
There are actors and then there are those who transcend that label to become cinematic icons. And I don’t think anyone would disagree that Steve McQueen was, and still is, one of those icons–one loved by film fans across the globe.
Well, it appears that in further recognition of McQueen’s impact on the world of film, a biopic about his life is in the works, which is to be based on the 1993 biography written by Marshall Terill, Steve McQueen: Portrait of an American Rebel.

The film will be produced by Michael Cerenzie and Christine Peters, who both acquired the rights to make it, alongside Brian Oliver and Chuck Rock of Arthaus

Productions.
The project will mainly concentrate on McQueen’s Hollywood career, which started in 1956 with Somebody Up There Likes Me, but the biography also includes details of his off-screen inclinations towards motorbikes, fast-cars and drugs.
Well this is just fantastic news, although I’m actually surprised it’s taken so long for a biopic of the legend to get made. As I said above, McQueen really is an icon and I would be extremely interested to see his life explored on-screen.
No word yet on who will play McQueen, which is understandable since the project hasn’t been long announced, but well-received suggestions of Daniel Craig have already popped up on message boards around the Web. And even though Craig playing the role is really just wishful thinking at this stage, I still wouldn’t rule the possibility out. Craig is not that dissimilar in look to McQueen and films like Flashbacks of a Fool, Defiance and of course the Bond films (well, at least Casino Royale), have shown us he’s got a lot of acting talent.
So, are you glad that they’re finally adapting Steve McQueen: Portrait of an American Rebel for the screen? And who do you think could fill the shoes of the acting legend?
http://screenrant.com/steve-mcqueen-bio ... ross-5022/

My question is: Do we want to see him in that role? Do bios have a movie going audience still? Could they make this a "Walk the Line" Film?
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Naked man and a horse.
I can't remember where I read it but I recall he doesn't like horses. Maybe we should start a rumor on IMDB that he is doing Equus ;)
Actually he didn't say that, but according to his own statement he is "scared shitless" every time he has to get on one - and it shows  :P

007 in 089!

James Bond: "Ein Quantum Trost"

Hopefully when some people realise that Satsuki is working, she might start getting some respect.

okay, you guys are asleep when i blog here. then i wake up to read and catch up here. not fair. plz answer some questions.
1. is steve mcqueen an icon to do a movie about or has DC made him popular now because he looks so much like him? i watch steve mcqueen movies-he is hot, but there are 1 million other interesting hot people that can do a movie about. Mrs. McQueen should be thanking DC for reincarnating the idea of Steve mcqueen and possibly making money for her or "his estate" . crazy
2. where is Sats working? yea, Daniel needs a break-nonstop work makes you eat chips more. but he is A.D. D. and cant rest too long.
good morning everyone!!
